Why should your business outsource auditing services?

OUTSOURCING FOR VALUE ADDED AUDIT REVENUE (VAAR)

There has been a trend in recent years to outsource auditing functions by taxing authorities.  On-staff revenue auditors usually perform much more than the tax auditing function.  A third party, such as RiverTree Systems, would allow you to contract out the necessary tax auditing time while freeing up your staff for other much needed functions.

In your budget, you likely account for tax auditing procedures as a Line Item Budget Cost. By contracting out some of the auditing services, you can provide VAAR.

What is RiverTree Systems' Audit Approach?

RiverTree Systems approach to providing audit services is designed to work closely with all clients to provide quality audits, to facilitate the cost effective collection of taxes, and provide information coordination between RiverTree Systems and the tax authority.

This approach can include:

 1.      Work on an exchange agreement between RiverTree Systems and ADOR. This should allow for a quick and direct information flow regarding audit leads and information exchanges with our involving another tax authority to request the information.

2.      Joint audits on Regulation “A”, large retailers/supply houses, etc. to reduce the administrative burden on taxpayers.

3.      Conduct joint training sessions on new rules, law, court, and revenue rulings so all examiners will have the most current information.

4.      Appointment of communication person at RiverTree Systems and ADOR or local service center to expedite information exchange.
